IWV Digital Solutions LLC was formed on January 1, 2026 as a Limited Liability Company organized under the laws of the State of California. The company designs, builds, and distributes productivity software with a single architectural commitment: software should run on the user's device, not on someone else's server. Our flagship product is NotesXML, a complete personal information management application available on Android, Windows, and Linux. Our ecosystem is being expanded with IWV Chat AI (free, available now), IWV Agent (planned for June 2026), and a roadmap of additional privacy-first applications across 2027.
Our mission is to build software that earns trust through architecture, not assertion. Privacy policies are valuable, but architecture is binding: when an application has no servers that store user content, no advertising SDKs, and no behavioural-tracking infrastructure, the privacy claim is verifiable rather than aspirational.
Our vision is to demonstrate that local-first software is not a constrained subset of what cloud applications offer — it is a superset, when the local device is given equal architectural standing to the cloud. NotesXML's 11-model on-device AI catalog, 99-language voice transcription, ISO 32000 PDF annotation, and AES-256 encrypted note storage all run with zero cloud dependencies, on hardware ranging from budget Android phones to enthusiast workstations.

The Zero-Exposure Protocol is referenced in our Privacy Policy as a binding commitment. It is not marketing language — it is a description of the application's architecture, and it is the architecture itself that enforces the privacy claim.
The IWV Standard is our internal development methodology, applied to every change to the codebase. It is built on five principles: zero tolerance for patches and workarounds, evidence-based debugging, holistic analysis for cross-platform changes, version-increment discipline, and AI-assisted development with rigorous review. Every Change Request goes through formal specification before implementation. Every code change is mapped against the SRS, ICD, and Codebase Cross-Reference. NotesXML is built on a single shared codebase that targets multiple platforms through tailored runtime adapters: Android via Kotlin with WebView and JNI bridges, Windows and Linux via Electron. Document storage uses an open XML-based format (NXL) with no proprietary serialization — your notes can be opened in any text editor and version-controlled with Git. AI inference runs locally via llama.cpp with an 11-model Pareto-curated catalog spanning 1B to 26B parameters. Voice transcription uses whisper.cpp with 99-language support. PDF annotation is ISO 32000-compliant and round-trips with Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Foxit. There are no proprietary cloud dependencies, no telemetry SDKs, and no advertising frameworks anywhere in the codebase.
IWV Digital Solutions LLC is the developer and owner of NotesXML, responsible for product architecture, engineering, and operations. Development follows the IWV Standard methodology, with AI-assisted implementation under human direction and review. Architectural decisions, Change Request acceptance, document approvals, and product strategy are owned by IWV Digital Solutions LLC.
