Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google. For the first 2 hours after a one-time purchase or 48 hours after a subscription, you can self-refund through the Google Play app. After that window, contact Google Play support directly. We cannot override Google Play refund decisions.
If you purchased a license directly from our website (Professional Lifetime $39.99, Annual $24.99 per year, or Academic Lifetime $24.99), enter the license key in the Android app at Settings → License → Activate. The same key works on Android, Windows, and Linux up to 5 device activations total.
AI models are downloaded from Hugging Face. If the download fails, check your internet connection and ensure your device has the required free storage (model size is shown in the model browser). The Free tier ships with Llama 3.2 1B Instruct (about 0.79 GB download). Download size is shown in the model browser.
Voice transcription requires the Whisper model to be installed. On first use, the app prompts to download the Whisper Base model (approximately 80 MB). If installation was skipped, you can install it manually at Settings → Speech-to-Text Install.
If the app crashes immediately on launch, please use the bug report tool: tap and hold the NotesXML icon on your home screen, select "App info," and use the system settings to clear app data. Then reinstall and contact android@iwvdigitalsolutions.com with your device model and Android version.
NotesXML supports Samsung DeX for desktop-mode usage on compatible Samsung Galaxy devices. Connect your device to a monitor via USB-C or wirelessly; the app adjusts its layout for the larger screen automatically.
Beta 5.125.x ships Llama 3.2 1B Instruct as the Free tier default (Llama 3.2 Community License, ~0.79 GB Q4_K_M GGUF, 128K-token context window). On first launch the app will offer to download Llama 3.2 1B Instruct from Hugging Face. The Free tier also unlocks Ministral 3 3B (vision-capable) as the upper Free-tier model — same bundled set as IWV Chat AI.
NotesXML on Android contains no advertising SDKs and does not collect or transmit advertising identifiers (no AdMob, no GAID). The full privacy disclosure is in the Privacy Policy Section 3.1, which is binding alongside the Google Play Data Safety Form filed for the app.
